“The Rev DezziLou” Ledesma
Vocals and Rhythm Guitar
As lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and songwriter for Band Of Strays, DezziLou brings energy, heart, and a lifelong love of music to every performance. Influenced by rock, pop, folk, and country, he has a knack for finding the emotional center of a song and delivering it in a way that feels both familiar and fresh.
Whether he's leading the band through a crowd favorite, sharing an original song, or inviting the audience to sing along, Lou's goal is simple: create moments people remember long after the last note fades. Genuine connection with audiences help turn every show into a shared experience.
Drawing from decades as a performer, songwriter, and storyteller, Lou helps shape the spirit of Band Of Strays—celebrating great music, good company, and the joy that comes from bringing people together one song at a time.
John "The Bassman" Krieger
On the Bass
John "The Bassman" Krieger has been making music for most of his life, starting out on guitar before discovering his true groove on bass. He cut his teeth in the New York City music scene with his former band, The Woodchippers, and has been laying down thunderous bass lines ever since.
Today, John brings his signature sound to Band of Strays, as well as a variety of jazz and rock projects across the Tri-State area—from Connecticut to the Jersey Shore. Known for his legendary bass solos and songwriting talent, John is equally passionate about one thing above all else: making sure the crowd is having a great time.
Whether he's holding down the groove, stepping into the spotlight for a solo, or getting the audience moving, The Bassman delivers the energy, musicianship, and fun that keep fans coming back for more.
"Captain Chip" Thomson
Lead Guitarist
As lead and rhythm guitarist for Band Of Strays, Captain Chip Thomson brings a lifetime of musical passion and a talent for keeping audiences engaged. Influenced by classic rock, pop, blues, and swing, his playing combines respect for the songs people love with a fresh energy that makes them feel new again.
Chip believes great music never goes out of style. Whether he's laying down a driving rhythm, adding a tasteful solo, or helping shape the band's signature sound, his focus is always on creating memorable moments and connecting with the crowd.
